Voodoo 3 3500 with P&D connector

The Voodoo 3 3500 does NOT make use of a standard VGA or DVI connector. The connector on the Voodoo 3 3500 is an EVC connector [1] which is also electrically compatible with the P&D connector standard [2]. This is important as standard VGA connectors will not fit, and it won't be possible to connect standard display screens to the Voodoo 3 3500 without either the original break-out cable or an adapter.

The Voodoo 3 3500 was originally sold with a blue break-out cable, but an analog P&D connector can be made to work, though often requiring some work to make it physically fit. The P&D adapter (which is also known by a couple other names) has to support analog signals or it will not work. Another option is to purchase an OEM EVC adapter such as the Dell C4403, which will not require any physical modification to fit to the original connector on the Voodoo3 3500 TV.

The P&D connector and EVC connector both physically resemble a DVI connector, but they are slightly wider and have more pins.

Some more info about these adapters can be read on Vogons [3][4]
