This template is used to populate the Device Infobox with information about a SCSI controller card. See Future Domain TMC 1600 for example use. As this template sits inside an infobox, it can be combined with other templates in the case of multi-function devices.

Valid parameters and examples specific to this infobox are:

Parameter Meaning
SCSI buses = Value Number of independent SCSI buses this device can communicate with. Note that some devices provide multiple connectors for the same bus (e.g. a controller card with internal and external connectors on the same bus), so be careful to ensure this figure really is the number of SCSI buses and not just the number of connectors.
SCSI-1 = Y Boolean value set to Y if the device can communicate using the SCSI-1 (5 MB/sec, narrow) standard, perhaps with optional cable adapters.
SCSI-2 = Y Boolean value set to Y if the device can communicate using the SCSI-2 Fast SCSI (10 MB/sec, narrow) standard, perhaps with optional cable adapters.
SCSI-2W = Y Boolean value set to Y if the device can communicate using the SCSI-2 Fast Wide (20 MB/sec, wide) standard, perhaps with optional cable adapters.
SCSI-3 = Y Boolean value set to Y if the device can communicate using the SCSI-3 Ultra Wide (40 MB/sec, wide) standard, perhaps with optional cable adapters.
SCSI-U80 = Y Boolean value set to Y if the device can communicate using the SCSI-3 Ultra2 Wide (80 MB/sec, wide) standard, perhaps with optional cable adapters.
SCSI-U160 = Y Boolean value set to Y if the device can communicate using the SCSI-3 Ultra160 (160 MB/sec, wide) standard, perhaps with optional cable adapters.
SCSI-U320 = Y Boolean value set to Y if the device can communicate using the SCSI-3 Ultra320 (320 MB/sec, wide) standard, perhaps with optional cable adapters.
ROM type = Value Text value for the type of ROM/EEPROM/Flash chip. One of:
  • None - no ROM chip is present
  • 28-pin JEDEC - standard byte-wide 28-pin ROM/PROM
  • 32-pin JEDEC - standard 32-pin EEPROM/flash chip
  • PLCC32 - 32-pin PLCC flash chip
  • TSOP40 - 40-pin TSOP package, usually flash memory

Add others to this list as needed - try to be as generic as possible, avoiding part names and using interface names instead.

Default values are shown if the parameter is omitted, so do not use any parameters unless the value is known (most of the defaults say "unknown").
